To launch the campaign, a mini-site was created to engage users with a playful game and to entice them to start sharing on facebook.
A social platform was created to give Syfy fans a new way to imagine greater – anywhere and everywhere. We are imagination facilitators. People are inspired everywhere, all the time.
The home screen displays featured talent such as Ariel Waldman, DJ Spooky and other notable personalities. This is the starting point into the experience and to discover other content on Syfy. There is also a subtle placement for advertising relevant to this subject matter such as GE Innovations or new technologies from Lincoln.
Each personality on Syfy has a dedicated page with custom video and their story. Surrounding this are images, stories and other content that invites you into a “wandering” experience through the site.
The mobile site featured personality videos and social content relevant to a mobile viewing experience.
The official Syfy Imagine Greater facebook page served as the hub for all conversation, interaction with hosts and social meetups.
